DIG Corp partnered with Storm Brain to create a modern digital experience that serves both irrigation professionals and at-home enthusiasts. The goal was to unify B2B and B2C audiences under a single, intuitive platform—bridging retail and ecommerce while making a complex product ecosystem easy to navigate, understand, and purchase.

DIG sells drip irrigation systems across three distinct audience segments, spanning both professional installers and consumer DIY users. Their expansive catalog of products, components, and replacement parts lived within an outdated database that was difficult to manage and even harder for users to navigate. The existing experience lacked clear pathways for different buyer types, offered limited educational context, and made product discovery cumbersome—creating friction for new users and limiting ecommerce growth.

Storm Brain reimagined the DIG website from a first-time user’s perspective—prioritizing clarity, education, and ease of access to detailed product information without requiring prior brand familiarity. We designed a clean, intuitive UI/UX framework capable of supporting DIG’s extensive product catalog while clearly guiding users by use case, product type, and experience level.

Built on WordPress, the platform enabled a seamless migration of DIG’s legacy database into a flexible, scalable content and catalog management system. Custom catalog development supported advanced product organization, while improved navigation and SEO-optimized content structure ensured discoverability across both B2B and B2C journeys. The result was a unified ecommerce experience that balanced technical depth with usability.

The new platform delivered a streamlined, user-focused digital experience that simplified product discovery and elevated the DIG brand across professional and consumer audiences. The key to success from an architectural and business management standpoint was to create a new framework for product organization. Once established, visual design was expanded for the brand.

The project we gave them was quite tedious as it involved moving a highly customized website over to a new hosting platform, but they did a great job and were very easy to work with along the way. They did a beautiful redesign of the frontend of the website as well, and we love how it turned out.
